Must Have:

• Expertise on VMware vCenter and ESXI and have done Design & Implementation of VMWare environment in past engagements.
• VMWare Certification (VCP) & Windows Enterprise Administrator
• Hyper converged Infrastructure environments (Nutanix, Netapp & Dell Vrack).
• Cisco UCS, HPE, Lenovo & Dell any 2-hardware knowledge is must
• Good Communication and awareness of ITIL best practices

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of VMware vSphere architecture.
• Design, Build and Implementation of VMWare Infrastructure.
• Creating & configuring the ESXi Cluster farms and cluster settings.
• Configuration of Networking at VMWare level like distributed switches and VLANs.
• Experience in managing VMware update manager and Platform Services Controller.
• Experience on HA, DRS, vCenter host profiles, certification management, single sign-on domain and auto-deploy concepts.
• Experience in capacity management and handling cluster performance issues
• Experience in Hyper converged Infrastructure (Nutanix, NetApp, Dell vRack).
• Experience on Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS is must.
• Infrastructure firmware management
• Experience in vCenter mgmt. ESXi infrastructure support and Windows Server administration.
• Providing technical support for App teams and back-end system users.
• Experience in SCCM patch collection and monthly server patching.
• Basic knowledge on PowerShell scripting to execute commands while troubleshooting issues.
• Virtual Server management in VMware vCenter and Hyper-V environments.
• Review ESXi clusters capacity and remediate if any issues in the environment.
• Expertise in working on automation and service improvements which will save manual efforts and turnaround time.
• ITIL process experience to handle Incident, Change, Problems and KEDB Management.
