We are seeking a VoIP Calling Architect to join our growing communications product line. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of VoIP services, primarily utilizing Asterisk . This role also involves designing and developing high-performance Python backend code and integrating cloud telephony features with Twilio and Telnyx . Collaboration with product and engineering managers will be essential to deliver end-to-end features and launch reliable, scalable calling solutions.
Technical Skills
Core Technical Expertise:
VoIP Protocols: In-depth knowledge of SIP, WebRTC, RTP, H.323, and other relevant VoIP and media protocols.
Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, QoS mechanisms, LAN/WAN networking, routing, and switching.
VoIP Platforms: Practical experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Avaya Aura, and open-source solutions like Asterisk.
