Voice engineer
Description
Telco technical resource familiar with IP and TDM voice telephony with
knowledge of virtual networks. Self driven to learn with good ownership and
knowledge of operational processes with the ability to perform maintenance
activities. Experience with customers a must.
Key skills
VMWare intermediate (vCenter / vCloud)
Linux intermediate, IP Networking intermediate (Subnetting, VLANS,
troubleshooting), SIP intermediated and SS7 basics (T1/E1, SONET/SDH and
mainly ISUP), Good communication skills (written and spoken), Spanish and
English speaking, General telecom troubleshooting skills (wireshark and an
understanding of traditional call flows).
Nice to have
Knowledge of Metaswitch voice products (MVS, SAS, MVD, CFS, UMG, MRS,
EAS, N-Series, Perimeta, CCFS (RPAS, OBS)), Migration concepts and
strategies
