Provide a short description of the Position: Services for a team of IT support professionals to work with complex software and hardware issues to support NYMTC's core activities and to comply with federal requirements


Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: Support and configure installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment. Identify the causes of networking problems using diagnostic testing software and equipment. Configure security settings, access permissions for groups and individuals. Install, inspect, secure and troubleshoot networked computers. Install network software, including security or firewall software.
