Volunteer- clinic assistant

This is a volunteering opportunity to gain insights and hands on experience. We are looking for a friendly and punctual volunteer who will mainly be assisting the physiotherapists and the front desk in our busy physiotherapy clinic.

This opportunity is for you if you are a student or are interested in working in a clinic as patient care coordinator/MOA and want to see if this will be a good fit for you. No previous experience or certification is required

Volunteer duties will include, greeting clients and checking them in, assisting in ultrasounds, TENS machines, setting patient up with hot or ice packs, light cleaning, which includes cleaning beds and laundry. Other tasks maybe assigned.

Shifts are mainly in the evening for a 4–8-week placement. This is an unpaid position, but there is potential for a permeant job offer following the agreed upon volunteer period, depending on performance, but is not guaranteed.
