Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer provides manufacturing engineering leadership throughout the new model development process, from Final Design (FDJ) through OKTB and post-launch activities. The role ensures product and process designs are manufacturable, safe, and capable of meeting quality, cost, and production targets.

This position leads bodyshop tooling strategies, including supplier coordination, tooling design, procurement, installation, start-up, and buy‑off activities. The engineer evaluates manufacturing feasibility using CAD tools, provides technical direction for mechanical equipment and processes, and supports tool debug, prove‑out, and implementation of new or modified tooling.

The role interfaces with cross‑functional teams to resolve manufacturing and body‑related quality issues, prepares management updates, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Support for new model launches and plant operations across North America, including extended on‑site assign...
