Responsibilities
Responsible for the strategy, development and on-going leadership of associate benefits plans; including health, welfare and retirement benefits. Leads the benefit team on designing, implementing and managing competitive, innovative and cost-efficient programs within the organization’s total rewards value proposition. Ensures operational excellence through continuous vendor improvement and streamlining processes, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory agencies. Directs the creation of an exceptional employee experience through innovative solutions, enabling associates and covered dependents to experience their benefits and well-being programs.
- Provides strategic consultation and partnership with leaders to ensure alignment of benefit strategy and plan design initiatives, directly supporting and enabling operational business goals and objectives.
- Develops and implements strategy for design and management of cost effective associate benefit programs that support the organization's mission, philosophy, goals and objectives.
- Designs, develops and recommends organization-wide benefit programs. Leads vendor selection, contract negotiations and relationships to ensure competitive and cost effective benefit programs.
- Manages finances related to benefits plan costs and operating budgets, ensuring plans meet organizational needs.
- Ensures the competitive position of the organization’s benefit structure, improving the health and well-being of our associates, while ensuring an exceptional experience.

Requirements
Education:
- Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.
