Vice President Engineering (VP Engineering)

Main Mission
The VP Engineering is responsible for the strategy, leadership, and execution of engineering activities in the data storage sector. He/she drives the design, development, and deployment of innovative, reliable solutions while ensuring quality, security, and performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the company’s technology vision.
Lead and oversee R&D and Engineering teams (software, hardware, distributed systems, cloud).
Drive the development of large-scale, high-performance, and secure data storage solutions.
Ensure product quality, scalability, and reliability.
Implement agile practices and engineering best standards.
Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to align technical roadmaps with business needs.
Recruit, mentor, and retain top technical talent.
Represent the Engineering function at the executive level and with key customers.
Candidate Profile
Master’s degree in computer engineering, electronics, or related fields.
15+ years of experience in senior engineering leadership roles, with a strong background in data storage, distributed systems, or cloud.
Proven technical expertise in storage architectures (NAS, SAN, SDS, cloud storage, distributed databases).
Successful track record in managing large international engineering organizations.
Strong leadership, results-driven mindset, and ability to drive innovation.
Professional fluency in English; and Spanish
