    Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all legal matters, including contracts, negotiations, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support the company's investment banking operations in Mumbai.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate complex B2B contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Provide legal advice and risk assessment to various business units.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Conduct internal legal audits and reviews to ensure operational adherence to legal standards.
  • Support the resolution of legal disputes and manage litigation matters effectively.

    • The Successful Applicant

    A successful VP/SVP Legal should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognised institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal frameworks in the financial services and investment banking sectors.
  • Proven expertise in managing and negotiating complex contracts within a B2B ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with legal aspects of IT services will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
