    Job Description

    1. Technical Leadership

  • Provide strong leadership, guidance, and oversight to the structural engineering team.
  • Ensure that designs meet project objectives, adhere to industry standards (, IS codes, international codes), and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead development of concept and detailed designs, analysis, documentation, and structural testing.


  • 2.Project & Resource Management

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare proposals and estimates, and perform QA/QC reviews across projects.


  • 3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate across disciplines-engineering, architecture, MEP, manufacturing, testing-to ensure seamless integration of structural design within larger project frameworks.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, contractors, and clients; act as a key point of contact for design-related matters


  • 4.Mentorship & Team Development

  • Train, mentor, and guide junior engineers and designers, while maintaining design quality and fostering growth.
  • Define staffing plans and resource allocation based on workload forecasts.
  • 5.Standards & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC protocols and lead process improvements and standard development.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, codes, best practices, and recommend design or workflow enhancements.
  • 6. Problem-Solving & Execution

  • Troubleshoot design and technical challenges effectively; provide innovative solutions.
  • Support field operations-perform site visits, inspections, and resolve on-site structural issues.


  • 7.Communication & Reporting

  • Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and present to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a resource for design clarifications, RFIs, and coordinate during construction.
  • The Successful Applicant

    Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Relevant professional licensure (, PE, Chartered Engineer, IStructE) desirable.


  • Experience:

  • 20+ years in structural design; 5+ years in leadership roles highly preferred; internationally complex or transport-infrastructure projects a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies:

    · Proficiency in structural analysis/design , STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Revit, BIM tools, etc.

    · Deep understanding of structural systems (RC, steel, composite, prestressed) and relevant codes (national/international).

    · Strong leadership, mentoring, team-building, communication, and organizational skills.

    · Excellent problem-solving aptitude and decision-making capabilities.
