Job Description

As a V&V Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will ensure software and systems meet standards and specifications. Develop test plans, execute cases, and analyze results to ensure product quality and reliability. You will report directly to our Sr Software Engineering Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Mexico City location on a Hybrid work schedule.

As a Verification and Validation Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting the verification and validation processes for our products. Your contributions will help ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, driving innovation and efficiency within our engineering teams.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality and reliability of our products by assisting in the execution of testing protocols and documentation, ensuring that all verification and validation activities align with regulatory standards and best practices.

  • Assist in the development and execution of verification and validation plans for engineering projects.
  • Conduct testing and document results to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues during the verification and validation process.
  • Focused on providing customer solutions in a fast-paced environment, this position performs the functional and system level test verification function of Honeywell’s customized integrated voice solutions and mobility software. 
  • Responsible for the development and execution of detailed tests. 
  • Define and/or develop test software and scripts to automate these tests.
  • To interface cross-functionally with other departments
     

  • YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 2 years of experience in verification and validation or related engineering roles.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficient in using standard software tools for documentation and reporting.
  • The position requires effective communication skills (especially written) and good problem-solving skills. 
  • The position requires the candidates to be results oriented with the resolve for a high degree of quality. 
  • Some travel may be required
