Position Overview
Civeo is seeking a dynamic and experienced multi-site Retail Operations Manager to lead and support retail operations across our village locations in WA and SA. In this pivotal role of WA & SA Retail Operations Manager, the key focus is on consistent retail standards, driving revenue, and enhancing customer satisfaction across the villages. You will manage day-to-day operations whilst providing support to village management teams, developing high performing retail staff, and will collaborate closely with Civeo’s internal departments including Supply Chain, Finance, and Village Operations.
The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in retail systems, POS technologies, store merchandising, inventory and stock management.
This role operates on a 5:2 Monday to Friday roster and is based in our corporate Perth office located in Osborne Park, with weekly travel, predominantly throughout the Pilbara & the Goldfields Regions in WA, and some travel to South Australia required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide retail and merchandising support across multi-site retail and tavern/bar departments.Key stakeholder engagement across internal Supply Chain team.Lead retail initiatives and project planning.Develop and train staff in retail operations, POS systems, and stock ordering.Align retail offerings with client expectations and contractual obligations.Implement and monitor retail standards, pricing strategies, and merchandising requirements.Analyse staffing efficiencies and optimise resource allocation.Conduct regular village visits and support refurbishments and new installations.Maintain required licences and support mobilisation efforts.Oversee monthly POS reporting and data integrity.Support invoicing processes and financial reporting.Experience
Relevant retail operations / management experience within large grocery sector, petrol and convenience multi-site operations, or franchise environments.High-volume hospitality or accommodation operations experience is also highly regarded.Proficiency in retail stock inventory systems, POS.Strong understanding of retail systems and change management.Experience in training and leadership.Key stakeholder engagement experience.Skills

Manage and support the effective operation of retail systems, including POS and inventory management. Ensure the smooth execution of retail operations and exceptional customer service across all stores. Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues related to retail systems, providing timely solutions. Manage the implementation and integration of new retail technologies and processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain system uptime and resolve technical issues. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Coordinate and oversee the merchandising of stores, ensuring compliance and visual standards. Manage the stock management process, including inventory levels and product availability. Extensive knowledge of retail systems, POS technologies, and store operations. Experience managing and supporting FIFO operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork. Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Ability to travel and work in remote locations as required.
