Job Summary: The Wall Panel Technician is responsible for supporting the design of residential and commercial wall panels. This role will utilize design software, interpret architectural and structural drawings, and learn to create layouts and component drawings. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in reading and reviewing sketches, drawings, specifications, and engineering data provided by architects, engineers, and drafters.
Support the evaluation of design feasibility based on factors such as safety, function, budget, and market characteristics.
Research production specifications, costs, and materials; assist in providing cost estimates.
Modify and refine designs to conform to customer specifications or building plan changes.
Generate wall panel layouts for final construction.
