Ward Sister/Charge Nurse

Role Summary

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated person to join the nursing leadership team in the Intensive Care Unit. The Unit is a busy adult ICU with over 0 admissions per year, including emergency and elective work, including paediatric admissions. This busy, friendly unit prides itself on the delivery of high quality care. The ICU was assessed as outstanding in our last CQC inspection.

The successful applicant will join the senior nursing team and contribute both to the day to day running of the unit and provide expert care to patients requiring interventional therapies to manage critical illness. The applicant will also be required to liaise with the multi-professional team and other services / departments within the Trust to promote good working relationships and take an active role in ICU development and education programmes.
