As a Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for the transportation and delivery of production elements between the warehouse facilities and Studios.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in maintaining and updating the detailed control/inventory count of all items pertaining to each assigned soap opera and/or set
  • Assists production personnel in identifying and locating items in the warehouse
  • Delivers specific items as needed to different departments
  • Responsible for ensuring the proper packaging of items for transportation and/or storage
  • Assists in restocking items on racks upon delivery
  • Utilizes forklift as needed to remove and add items from and to the warehouse
  • Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios’ infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures
  • Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment
  • Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader
  • Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader
  • Works under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Coordinator and/or Warehouse Lead and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • This is a temporary position for two months.

    • Qualifications

    Basic Requirements: 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse logistics and operations
  • Prior work experience using a forklift
  • Basic knowledge in the production of novelas/soap operas and TV
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to lift over 10 lbs of item(s) used in props and/or sets
  • Must be able to perform physical activities required of this position which includes, but is not limited to, climbing, lifting, balancing stooping, and handling of materials. 
  • Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions

    • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
  • Must be willing to work in the greater Mexico City area
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
