About the role
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Sumitomo Bakelite Singapore Pte Ltd', this is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our efficient warehousing and distribution operations.
What you'll be doing
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials
- Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders to customers
- Maintain detailed inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
- Assist with the organisation and upkeep of the warehouse
- Support the wider logistics team as required
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or in a similar role within the manufacturing and logistics industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with warehousing, storage and distribution processes and procedures
- Forklift licence and experience operating material handling equipment
- Good numeracy and IT skills to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure
