Warehouse Assistant

Summary:

• Supporting role in Logistics Inbound & Outbound activities

Job Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities of the job)

• Ensure receiving items are correct and complete with the accompanying documents and strictly following the documented Work Instruction and Procedures.
• Notify Logistics for any discrepancy for receiving & outbound items
• Direct receipt & support Direct Raw Material shipment to Batam and forwarder (C&G)
• Label goods received with accuracy and ensure proper storage of goods as required
• Material kitting for outbound transaction & material movement to production shopfloors
• Ensure that the storage area and the goods are properly maintained
• Escalate to Supervisor/ Manager if found concern on safety issues or potential breakform in warehouse process gaps that may lead to inventory inaccuracy, quality of the materials and delivery during receiving and materials issuing
• Packing & Palletizing and related logistics assistic for movement of stocks/ products
• Other duties as and when assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE N level or equivalent.
• Min 2 years relevant working experience in logistics related environment.
• Computer literate
• Applicants from manufacturing/engineering environment preferred
• Good understanding in Electronic Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management would be an added advantage
