Reports to – Eric Ho (Warehouse Supervisor)
Job Summary
The materials coordinator plays a crucial role in the efficient management of materials and resources within our organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the storage, distribution, and tracking of materials to ensure the seamless flow of supplies within workshop.
Responsibilities
Inventory Control: Monitor shelf life and ensure the proper handling of perishable materials. Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring that the issuing team is issuing parts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Distribution and Allocation: Coordinate the distribution of materials to various departments or production areas. Ensure timely allocation of materials to meet production schedules. Implement efficient distribution strategies to reduce lead times.
