Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize appropriate shifts and staffing levels to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the recovery, inspection, and receipt of inbound stock efficiently.
- Manage the dispatch of outbound shipments to ensure timely departures.
- Ensure accurate sorting and optimal loading of all shipments.
- Monitor performance of ground handlers and warehouse providers, completing necessary reports.
- Ensure adherence to customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and meet all KPIs.
- Promote safe working practices and participate in quality initiatives (e.g., ISO accreditation).
- Develop a high-performance service culture within the functional department.
- Identify training needs and opportunities for employee development.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) skills.
- Strong communication skills (English, spoken and written).
- Leadership skills.
- Customer orientation and planning & organizing abilities.
- Decision-making and influencing skills.
- Commitment to excellence and team building.
