Responsibilities
-Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to achieve productivity, accuracy, and safety targets
-Request, compare, and negotiate freight rates with carriers and freight forwarders
-Assign daily work, monitor performance, and provide coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations
-Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including customs and hazardous goods paperwork
-Maintain a safe, compliant work environment in accordance with OHSA, TDG, WHMIS, and other regulations
-Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping
