Zenith Energy Limited is a Well Engineering Consultancy and Project Management company providing a range of specialist services to the Oil and Gas Industry. We are an independent company, owned and managed by Engineers, with a core team behind us that are experienced and respected within the Industry. Our multi-disciplined team include Drilling Manager, Well Team Leader, Senior Drilling Engineers and Drilling Engineers all based together in our Aberdeen office.

Zenith and our people bring vast experience and skills to any project we are involved in. We are experienced in land drilling, jack-ups, semis and drill ships and our personnel have worked in the UK, Norway, West Africa and the Falklands. We have experience in normal pressure wells, HPHT wells, Horizontal wells and Deep Water wells and working closely with both Drilling Contractors and Service Companies internationally.

In addition to our core team, we have access to a pool of experienced Well Engineering personnel covering, Completions, Well Testing, Offshore Supervisors, Subsea and Logistics and Contracts specialists.

Job Description

Job Title: Materials & Warehousing Coordinator

Location: Perth, WA (Warehouse-Based)

Employment Type: Contract – 6 to 8 Months

About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Materials & Warehousing Coordinator for a 6–8 month assignment based at our client's warehouse facility in Perth. This is a key operational role supporting the day-to-day movement, control, and visibility of critical materials and equipment for an active oil and gas project.

The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of oil and gas logistics, warehousing operations, and freight coordination, alongside proven expertise using SAP S/4HANA for inventory and materials tracking.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound movements of equipment and materials in alignment with project schedules and operational needs

Manage warehousing operations including receipt, storage, dispatch, and stock control activities

Maintain accurate records in SAP S/4HANA , ensuring traceability and real-time visibility of inventory and logistics status

Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, and vendors to manage delivery schedules and documentation

Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, load restraint guidelines, and material handling procedures

Support mobilisation and demobilisation of drilling and project materials as required

Interface with internal stakeholders (procurement, logistics, drilling, operations) to ensure materials readiness

Ideal Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a materials coordination or warehouse logistics role within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors

Solid working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA for materials and inventory management – mandatory

Experience with oil and gas materials handling, project logistics, and warehouse operations

Strong attention to detail, organised and proactive approach to daily operations

Understanding of dangerous goods, freight forwarding, and Australian transport compliance (preferred)

Ability to work independently within a small site-based team environment

Forklift licence or load restraint certifications advantageous
