Warehousing Specialist

Job Description
A warehouse specialist is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and monitoring daily activity in a warehouse. They work with warehouse employees to monitor and record inventory of what goes in and out of a company's facility.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Ensure the safety of warehouse staff and promote a culture of safety throughout the warehouse.
Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products, including inventory management and accuracy.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that product is available for order fulfillment.
Work with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment.
Maintain accurate records of inventory accuracy, material handling damage and warehouse operations.
