RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Responsible for a team of Warfighting Function SMEs in various subject matter areas, including: M2, Intel, C2, Fires, Protection, and Sustainment absent the WFF that the Lead will represent.
  • Acts as an advisor, trainer, and SME for division and below units during planning through execution to include After Action Review (AAR) of collective events.
  • Proficiency in current Army WFF doctrine and processes, and able to identify new and emerging Army and Joint doctrine.
  • Coaches, teaches, and trains units during the conduct of STAFFEXs to assist the commander in achieving their training objectives.
  • Plans for and executes constructive exercises to provide commanders and staffs the opportunity to exercise operations orders developed during collective training events.
