Aptiv's advanced safety and user experience business unit is dedicated to creating innovative solutions that enhance the safety and convenience of vehicle systems.
**Major Job Responsibilities**:
- Document warranty process flow for each customer.
- Access customer warranty database if required.
- Track product field performance and monitor early returns.
- Handle all aspects of warranty returns (log in tracker, move parts between teams, ship to suppliers/customers)
- Manage return part analysis, responsiveness and coordinate resources.
- Generate pareto charts for analysis and corrective actions.
- Document analysis reports for internal/external customers and lead reviews.
- Track and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Document and share lessons learned to the organization.
- Provide costs estimates for warranty on quotes for new business.
- Validate warranty claims and dispute debits if required.
