Wastewater Treatment Operator

MPS Group, Inc. , a leading provider of industrial cleaning and waste management services, is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator based in Oakville, ON . The role focuses on daily plant operations, monitoring, sampling, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to ensure the facility meets all regulatory requirements.
 
Responsibilities and job duties:

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment processes, including pumps, tanks, chemical dosing systems, solids filtration systems, clarifiers, etc.
• Perform routine inspections, sampling, and raw water analysis.
• Conduct wastewater lab tests and interpret the results to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize chemical usage and overall system performance.
• Complete daily logs, documentation, and regulatory records.
• Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Communicate plant status and issues to supervisors.
