Job Purpose:

The Water Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of water-related systems including Drip Irrigation Systems, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Water Treatment Plants (WTP). The role ensures efficient water usage, compliance with standards, and continuous system improvement as per current and future requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain Water Drip Irrigation, STP, and WTP systems.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of all water systems without downtime.
• Monitor water quality parameters and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify gaps and implement improvements for system optimization and future scalability.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, logs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance and upgrades.
• Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and statutory compliance related to water systems.
• Support planning and execution of system expansion or enhancement projects.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Hands-on experience in Drip Irrigation systems.
• Strong knowledge of STP & WTP operations, including pumps, pipelines, filters and control panels.
• Understanding of water quality testing processes.
• Basic knowledge of automation, sensors, and control systems (SCADA preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in water management or treatment systems will be an added advantage.
