Water Supply Designer creates plans for efficient water systems, from source to tap, designing pipelines, pumps, and treatment facilities for homes, industries, or cities, ensuring compliance with codes, using hydraulic software, and collaborating with teams on technical reports, cost estimates, and construction oversight for reliable water delivery. Key tasks include site analysis, modeling, creating detailed drawings (P&IDs), managing budgets, and ensuring sustainability for projects like Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) or general infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Modeling: Develop hydraulic/hydrologic models (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS) for pipe sizing, pressure zones, and network layouts; design treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and distribution networks.
