Water Planner

This is a unique two‑year opportunity to join the Infrastructure, Planning and Engineering Branch, this Branch is responsible for asset and growth strategy, portfolio, program and project development and planning, technical engineering advice and design management services to ensure the Icon Water’s assets are safe, sustainable and fit for purpose in the long term. In conjunction with other Infrastructure Services branches.

This role has primary responsibility for planning and developing projects and initiatives that support long term strategies and plans for Icon Water’s water and wastewater assets. The position plays a key role in supporting delivery of Icon Water’s Integrated Water Management Program (IWMP), which will enable key strategic decisions to be made on the future of Canberra’s water and wastewater services, and ensure future investment decisions consider the whole water cycle.
