Water Resources Designer/Engineer

Location: Whitby, Ontario

Job Function: To design stormwater management facilities for land development projects, municipal reconstruction projects and to provide related reports.

Department Function: To provide professional engineering designs, drawings, reports, and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design of stormwater management facilities for site plan and subdivision projects from review of preliminary concepts through detailed design and construction, in accordance with Project Managers’ specifications and established work-hour budgets.
• Provides input regarding design and drafting budgets for proposal preparation.
• Completes the modelling and calculations required to prepare reports and design briefs for each project. Makes revisions as instructed by the Project Manager and/or regulatory and municipal officials.
