Weatherization Shell Crew Technician

JOB DUTIES

The Weatherization Shell Crew Technician is responsible for assisting the installation of residential energy conservation measures and health and safety repairs specified in the work scope. Activities will include but are not limited to air sealing the house envelope, installing and repairing air and ventilation ducts, installing crawl space vapor barrier, preparing attics for insulation, and installing light bulbs and smoke alarms. He or she is responsible for interacting with the client and crew personnel in a responsive and professional manner and stewarding materials on the job site in a safe and effective manner. The Technician is responsible for assisting with the site assessment prior to the installation of measures, recognizing and reporting concerns to the Crew Leader, assisting with diagnostic testing, and supporting the quality control process.
