Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Web Developer to join MetBrains and contribute to the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of responsive, high-performance web platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong frontend and/or backend skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the APAC region.

This role offers long-term growth, exposure to modern web architectures, and the opportunity to work on production-grade platforms used at scale.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot web-related issues
• Implement web security and data protection best practices
• Maintain and improve existing web platforms and features

Detailed Job Description – Web Developer

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
• Build and integrate APIs and backend services as required
• Work with databases and server-side technologies
• Ensure SEO-friendly, accessible, and user-centric web designs
• Follow SDLC processes including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work with cross-functional and cross-region teams in the APAC region
• Participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning
• Support deployment and post-release enhancements
• Continuously improve website usability and performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
• Basic to strong understanding of backend technologies and APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Experience with full-stack web development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and hosting environments
• Knowledge of SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and web analytics
• Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization
• Experience working with distributed or global teams
