Job Overview

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining responsive and high-performing web applications that align with business goals and user requirements. The role demands strong expertise in front-end and/or back-end development technologies, debugging skills, and the ability to collaborate with UI/UX designers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver modern, scalable digital solutions. The ideal candidate must possess solid programming knowledge, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to convert business logic into intuitive web interfaces and efficient backend processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy responsive web pages, web applications, and modules using modern web technologies.

  • Translate UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into functional, standards-compliant code.

  • Build and maintain APIs, integrate third-party services, and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, cross-browser compatibility, and performance.

  • Maintain code quality through proper documentation, version control, and adherence to established development standards.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across UI, backend logic, and database layers.

  • Collaborate with designers, testers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases within project timelines.

  • Implement security best practices, conduct vulnerability checks, and ensure data protection compliance.

  • Participate in code reviews, suggest improvements, and stay updated with the latest web development trends and tools.

  • Manage website maintenance activities, performance improvements, and feature enhancements as needed.

    • Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in web development with a portfolio of completed projects.

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), web standards, and coding principles.

  • RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, Web Services

  • Version control (Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)

    • Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • CMS platforms: WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Shopify

  • Knowledge of UI/UX fundamentals and responsive design principles

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tools
