About the Role

We are looking for a Engineering Manager to lead a mid-sized, high-performing team of backend, frontend, and QA engineers. The ideal candidate has strong experience in modern web technologies, Sitecore CMS, and building large-scale distributed web platforms. This role requires a balance of technical leadership, people management, and the ability to drive long-term technology direction while ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery. You should be passionate about building exceptional engineering teams, creating modern user experiences, and solving complex problems with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor a blended team of backend, frontend and QA engineers.
• Participate directly in hands-on technical work and guide end-to-end feature development using Sitecore, React, and Node.Js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering and business teams.
• Champion the adoption and internal evangelization of the web framework including Sitecore and experimentation platforms.
• Define and drive long-term technical direction, architectural decisions, and technology strategy.
• Support hiring by partnering with recruiters to attract, interview, and onboard top engineering talent.
• Ensure high productivity, strong delivery standards, and smooth sprint planning and release execution.
• Improve engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Make clear and timely decisions when requirements are ambiguous and help unblock the team.
• Produce reliable, scalable, and high-performance web services and platform components.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5 plus years of experience in software development with strong exposure to web platforms or full-stack engineering.
• 2 plus years of experience managing software development teams and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience with modern technologies including .NET, Node.Js, ReactJS, Azure Cloud Services, and Sitecore CMS or similar platforms.
• Deep understanding of performance tuning, scaling, and high availability for web applications and services.
• Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and grow engineers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work through ambiguity and make sound technical decisions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
