Webflow Developer Location:



  • International (Remote) Department: Development Reports to: Lead Developer, Project Manager Employment Type: Contracted, 12 Months Compensation: $15 - $20 USD per Hour About the Role The Webflow Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing high-quality websites in Webflow.

  • This role translates approved designs into responsive, performant, and scalable web experiences and works closely with design, SEO, QA, and project management to ensure builds meet visual standards, technical requirements, and client goals.
  • What You’ll Do Build and maintain responsive, pixel-accurate websites in Webflow from Figma designs, including CMS collections, dynamic templates, scalable class systems, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Enhance builds with light custom code and third-party integrations, support animations and interactions with performance in mind, and assist with migrations, site settings, hosting, and publishing workflows.
  • Ensure build quality and performance by executing visual and functional QA, following SEO and accessibility best practices, optimizing load speed, and resolving bugs, layout issues, and post-launch fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and QA to scope, deliver, and launch work, participate in build reviews and readiness checks, keep tasks organized in ClickUp, and document build notes and handoffs clearly.
  • What We’re Looking For Strong proficiency in Webflow including CMS, Editor, interactions, and hosting.  Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript and experience building responsive layouts and scalable component systems.  Familiar with SEO fundamentals and web accessibility best practices and bring strong attention to detail with the ability to follow design systems precisely.  Comfortable working in an agency or fast-paced, multi-project environment.
  • Nice to have experience  Client-First or similar class naming frameworks.  Webflow migrations from WordPress or other platforms.  Working with designers in Figma.  Familiarity with GA4 or Google Tag Manager.  Basic understanding of performance auditing tools such as Lighthouse or PageSpeed.
  • Ability to work in Eastern Time Zone Success in This Role Looks Like Builds are delivered on time and within scope.  Visual accuracy is high with minimal QA feedback.  Webflow structures are clean and scalable to support future growth.  Launches are smooth with minimal post-launch issues.  Collaboration and communication across teams are strong and consistent.
