Weekend Technical Support Engineer (shift work)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Weekend Technical Support Specialists to provide exceptional customer service and technical support during weekends.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of customer support, eye for detailand the ability to work independently. As a weekend support agent, you are going to be theeyes and ears of the company during your shift.You will be relied upon to help and nurture junior team members who are also working duringthe Saturday-Sunday shift.

Responsibilities

Online Slot Familiarity

• Gain robust knowledge of Booming Games titles


• Understand the different types of slot games that we offer


• Go deep on gameplay mechanics and game behavior

Customer Communication

• Be able to effectively prioritize several channels of communication


• Be alert and attentive to all incoming customer requests


• Assess when to attempt a resolution and when to escalate a request


• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues were resolved


• Gather customer feedback and share with our Product team

Technical Knowledge and Troubleshooting

• Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features


• Perform in-depth analysis of significant wins

Team Player

• Act as the main connection between team members working on Saturday and Sunday


• Mentor and help them grow as professionals in the field


• Open communication with your team lead

Requirements

• 1+ years experience as a Customer Support Specialist or a similar role


• Experience using help desk software and remote support tools


• Experience in managing and/or mentoring people


• English: Professional proficiency (additional languages are considered an advantage)


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


• Good human skills (active listening, empathy, patience)


• Familiarity with the gambling industry is considered an advantage

• This is a weekend job, fully remote, freelance/independent contractor position, ideal for students
