Job Description

Location: Rotherham, Yorkshire
Hours:Friday - Sunday 3 x 12 hour days 6am-6pm
Pay:£22.00 per hour

About the role

  • Perform welding activities on carbon steel, armour steel, aluminium

  • Weld various joint configurations in all positions

  • Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity and WPS requirements

  • Review engineering drawings for parts to be welded

  • Satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale
  • Carry out and record the daily / weekly / monthly maintenance checks and record the necessary safety checks
  • Ensure correct marking up of component parts
  • Ensure that the labelling system is adhered to
