Location: Bellevue, WA (local candidates only)
Type: Contract (yearlong) typically extends on a yearly basis
Compensation: $52 - $85 hourly

System One is seeking a highly motivated Weld Engineer to support the engineering efforts of our client’s Materials Development and Qualification team. This role will work as part of a high functioning team of engineers focused on weld processes, supply chain development and supplier qualification for next generation material and components for sodium cooled fast reactors. You will be responsible for a wide range of weld development activities ranging from fundamental laboratory testing to development of a manufacturing process for advanced reactor components.
