Job Description

The Weld Engineer is responsible for ensuring conformance to corporate standards for all welding processes, quality, and continuous improvements. This includes adherence to defined welding parameters, maintenance of weld gun certifications, and carrying out other maintenance processes. The Weld Engineer will maintain equipment records, set up welding equipment (laser welding, laser brazing, resistance welding, drawn arc welding, projection welding, MIG, Flux Core, & TIG welding), and reduce/eliminate weld expulsion. Maintain the certifications and calibration of test equipment. Act as the point of contact during all external Manufacturing Quality Assurance System (MQAS) and internal process audits related to welding. Responsibilities include:
