These positions suit skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work, understand site and workshop standards, and want stable, long-term employment with strong companies.</p><hr><h3>Requirements</h3><p>To be considered, you must have:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Minimum 5 years’ experience</strong>as a Welder Fabricator</p></li><li><p>Valid and clean <strong>Irish driving licence</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Safe Pass</strong>(mandatory)</p></li><li><p>Manual Handling certificate</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings</p></li><li><p>Experience with MIG, TIG, and ARC welding (depending on role)</p></li><li><p>Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and structural steel</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and quality</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p></li><li><p>Strong time management and reliability</p></li><li><p>EU/EEA passport or valid right to work in Ireland</p></li></ul><hr><h3>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</h3><p>As a Welder Fabricator, your daily duties will include:</p><ul><li><p>Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, schematics, and blueprints</p></li><li><p>Measuring, marking, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components</p></li><li><p>Welding steel components using MIG, TIG, and/or ARC processes</p></li><li><p>Fabricating structural steel, frames, platforms, staircases, handrails, brackets, and bespoke metalwork</p></li><li><p>Operating workshop machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, saws, grinders, and drills</p></li><li><p>Ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards</p></li><li><p>Inspecting finished work for accuracy, strength, and finish</p></li><li><p>Carrying out repairs, modifications, and maintenance welding</p></li><li><p>Working to tight deadlines without compromising quality</p></li><li><p>Following all health & safety procedures on-site and in the workshop</p></li><li><p>Maintaining a clean and organised workspace</p></li><li><p>Liaising with supervisors, engineers, and other trades</p></li><li><p>Occasionally attending site installations and fit-outs (depending on role)</p></li></ul><hr><h3>What’s on Offer</h3><ul><li><p>Full-time, permanent positions</p></li><li><p>Long-term job security</p></li><li><p>Competitive hourly rates / salary (DOE)</p></li><li><p>Overtime opportunities</p></li><li><p>Career progression</p></li><li><p>Professional, well-equipped workshops</p></li><li><p>Strong pipeline of work</p></li></ul>
