Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations. Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks. Perform daily equipment check lists (IE crane checks, equipment checks, etc.). Be able to read and interpret blueprints, job routings, and Standard Engineering Specifications. Properly assemble heads, shells, and flanges for circumferential seam welding. Hold necessary weld certifications to fabricate and repair pressure vessels. Be able to perform all kinds of welding, cutting, gouging operations applicable to the company, to properly fabricate pressure vessels. Handset couplings, flanges, pipe nipples, legs, brackets, braces, etc., within tolerances specified on blueprints. Record required information on proper forms relating to specific fabrication practices where required. Pneumatic test doubler pads, and pressure vessels when required.
