United Trades of America is looking for certified welders to join our team in Metairie, LA. If you're a skilled professional with experience in advanced welding techniques, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Employ welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW) to fuse various metals accurately.
• Operate and manage machines for manufacturing and repairing metal structures, tools, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, calculating welding dimensions with precision.
• Test welded surfaces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties such as cutting, soldering, or brazing as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent).
• Experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and calculate welding dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be located in or willing to commute to Metairie, LA.
