Welding Engineer

Develop the requirements and independently handle projects as Welding Engineer.

Job Responsibilities :

• Good Understanding of welding operations and Process/Limitations.
• Understanding of various welding processes and consumables in our yard
• Material classifications
• Information about various power sources used while welding.
• Development and Adaptation of new welding processes.
• Understand the technical requirements for a project from welding engineering point of view
• Support Production team for welding consumables technical delivery conditions.
• Understanding of essential variables, supplementary essential variables and non-essential variables for a welding procedure specification (WPS).
• Understanding of various weld defects and ability to judge the quality of a weld
• Weld repairs analysis and investigation Welding/PQR’s Plan
• Good Flow of welders start from recruitment to strike of Arc on project.
• Understanding and witnessing mechanical testing and NDT

Min Qualification :

BE in Welding/ Metallurgical/ Mechanical Engineering.

Additional Qualification :

AWS CWE Eng,/TWI (or any External certifications) Quality Auditor; Senior Inspector certifications; Hands own Welding Skills.

Exp:

3+ years in Welding/ Metallurgy aspects for fabrication industry.
