Welding inspector shall in general be responsible for monitoring performance of Quality Control matters. Main tasks include:
- Monitor/ review material test certificates in line with project specifications.
- Ensure project preservation requirements are followed.
- Ensure traceability of materials are maintained.
- Witness PQR, welder qualification ensuring welds are performed as per approved procedures.
- Witness PQR and welder qualification mechanical testing as per requirements.
