Job Description
The Welding Engineer works in the area of fabrication. Responding directly to the Sr. Engineer responsible for the area. The Welding engineer will have to implement new products respecting lean production processes in his area. Will support the daily operation of every component processed in his area. The Welding Engineer is always responsible to keep the process design, tools and machines in best working condition.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic).
- 3 years or more of experience in manufacturing
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bilingual (80% English & Spanish) both oral and written
- 3D Modeling Software
- Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge in Welding Process MIG, TIG
- Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrics knowledge.
- GD&T knowledge
