Welding Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide welding engineering support to Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to fabricate equipment in accordance with all applicable code and customer requirements.
• Conduct DFM analyzing engineering design for welding requirements and process capabilities.
• Evaluates new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes.
• Responsible for new welding procedure specification (WPS) development and welder qualification test (WQT) from time to time.
• Responsible to manage productivity improvement activities (manual welding process conversion to automated welding).
• Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by Department Manager.
• CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector qualification will be advantageous.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or 4~5 years related experience.
