Welding Technician 1

2nd Shift ( 02 :30pm-10:30pm) Objective: The Welding Technician 1 gains experience and knowledge to become a skilled Welding Technician and provides customers with product in an exemplary manner according to the company quality policies. Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Required to enroll in the apprenticeship program within 6 months of starting work, to be completed in a 4 year time frame. Upon completion (class work and 8,000 On the Job Learning Hours), apply for the Journeyman's card. Ability to accurately and efficiently modify welding programs for Fanuc systems Ability to troubleshoot automated welding applications Ability to perform preventative maintenance (PM) on weld fixtures, weld cells, and auxiliary equipment Computer Literacy An excellent work record, including attendance.
