Job Description

We are looking to hire a Systematic / Discretionary Trader to build and manage a proprietary FX trading book, with additional exposure to digital assets.

This is a high-autonomy role suited for professionals who can blend fundamental thinking, momentum strategies, and data-driven/systematic analysis in live markets.


Role Overview


  • Build and manage a discretionary FX trading book (unlevered initially)
  • Combine fundamental valuation, momentum indicators, and quant/technical signals
  • Work closely with the Principal in a lean, high-trust environment
  • Generate actionable trade ideas and market insights


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage trading positions within agreed risk and mandate limits
  • Conduct valuation-led research focused on catalysts, flows, and downside risk
  • Apply macro, thematic, and cross-asset perspectives
  • Maintain disciplined risk management, performance tracking, and reporting


Candidate Profile
  • 3–6 years of experience in trading or investment analysis
  • (hedge fund, prop trading firm, or family office preferred)
  • Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills;
    Python / R exposure is a plus
  • Ability to balance discretionary judgment with systematic frameworks
  • Analytical, self-driven, and commercially minded
  • Exposure to digital assets is an advantage
