This challenge awaits you:

As a working student, you will support the Account Manager for Commercial Vehicles in business development activities with Chinese OEMs (e.g., BYD, Geely, SAIC, Dongfeng, Yotong) in the European market. You will gain direct insight into real business development cases with leading Chinese OEMs in Europe and gain an understanding of China's global expansion strategies for the automotive industry. You will also gain practical experience in intercultural communication, stakeholder alignment, and market information. 

Your Tasks:

  • You will conduct research on the European strategies of Chinese OEMs, including product localization, technology roadmaps, regulatory requirements, and supply chain layout.
  • You will coordinate communication with Chinese OEM stakeholders and prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up documents.
  • You consolidate customer technical requirements and coordinate them with engineering teams regarding testing, resources, and technical support.
  • You track industry news, investment trends, and regulatory developments related to Chinese OEMs in Europe.
  • You prepare market insights, competitive analyses, and business presentations.

    • Necessary Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in business administration, automotive engineering, international relations management, or a comparable field of study
  • Strong interest in the Chinese automotive industry and its global expansion, particularly in Europe
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (at least C1); German is an advantage

    • Desired Skills:

  • Experience in research, documentation, and basic knowledge of data analysis
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a multicultural environment

    • Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly wage for this position is EUR 17.52.
