About The Role

The Bloomfield Group is seeking a dedicated WHS Officer to join our Safety and Health team. Based at our Rix's Creek Mine, this role plays a key role in partnering with operational teams to effectively and efficiently manage WHS on site. You will provide specialist advice, coaching and support to drive safe work practices and positive safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of a proactive safety culture through engagement with operational teams to identify hazards, assess risks and implement effective controls
• Provide practical WHS advice and coaching to supervisors and managers to ensure compliance and build safety capability
• Assist with incident investigations and support the implementation of corrective actions
• Support injury management, including liaison with managers, employees, medical providers and insurers
