Job Summary:

· We are seeking a dedicated Windchill and CAD Support Administrator to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and support of Windchill PLM and CAD systems.

· The role involves managing system performance, user support, and integration of CAD tools with PLM systems while adhering to business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Windchill Administration:

· Manage and maintain the Windchill PLM environment, including upgrades, patches, and backups.

· Configure and troubleshoot Windchill workflows, lifecycles, and access controls.

· Provide end-user support for Windchill PDMLink and related modules (PartsLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, etc.).

· Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues to ensure minimal downtime.

· Manage user accounts, roles, and security settings in Windchill.

· Create and maintain documentation for Windchill configurations and support processes.

CAD Support:

· Administer CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or NX.

· Configure and manage CAD data integrations with Windchill PLM.

· Provide support for CAD users, including troubleshooting design issues, crashes, or data conflicts.

· Ensure CAD data integrity and adherence to naming conventions, templates, and standards.

· Support migration and conversion of CAD data as required.

General Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and IT, to resolve system and process issues.

· Develop and deliver training sessions for end users on Windchill and CAD tools.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in data management.

· Participate in system audits, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

· Expertise in Windchill PLM administration and CAD tool management.

· Hands-on experience with CAD tools like Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or NX. Strong knowledge of Windchill modules (PDMLink, MPMLink, etc.) and workflows.

· Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl, or Python) for automation.

· Familiarity with database management (Oracle/SQL) and application servers (Tomcat). Experience with integrating PLM systems with ERP or other enterprise systems is a plus.

Other Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Experience in managing system upgrades and migrations.

· Preferred Certifications PTC Certified Professional for Windchill or equivalent certifications. Certifications in Creo or other CAD tools.
